JAMES DIETER
PASTOR

Over the last 15 years, James has served in worship, youth and pastoral ministry roles at several churches in Cowlitz County. In the spring of 2013, James and his wife Laura collaborated with a dozen other couples to start Renewal City Church. James’ ministry strengths are his authentic, genuine personality, varied skill set and willingness to learn. Due to his conviction that Jesus Christ is returning for a Church that is unified, James prioritizes collaboration and cooperative relationship across congregational boundaries in our community. He is walking in relationship with numerous other local pastors and ministry leaders with the firm belief that Jesus Christ has built His church to be “better together”.

Jessica Nielsen
Office administratoR

Living in Cowlitz County for most of her life and attending Renewal since 2015, Jess is excited to serve her community through her role as office administrator. With over 16 years of medical office administration experience, Jess brings her sense of organization, trustworthiness and engaging personality to the staff at Renewal City Church.

Mikinzi Rambo
youth Pastor

Mikinzi has a heart to see middle and high school students mature into lifelong believers through authentic connections with one another, with adult believers, and with the love of Jesus.

nicole alexy
children’s MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Nicole has had a passion for children’s ministry her whole life, and has been serving in local ministries in some capacity for the last 12 years. It is her hope that kids can meet Jesus and learn to own their faith from a young age, continuing to walk with Him into adulthood. She is also currently the LOCO YoungLives Area Coordinator. She lives in Longview with her husband David and their four young boys.

Cassie Jimenez
Nursery DIRECTOR

Cassie is pleased to serve the babies and toddlers of Renewal with gentle discipleship, leading them to the feet of Jesus. She is a junior leader for Lower Columbia YoungLives and has a deep passion for the children of our community. She lives in Cowlitz County with her daughter and two cats.

JOEL RAMBO
WORSHIP DIRECTOR

Joel Rambo is both a gifted musician and a thoughtful follower of Jesus. He has been serving the broader Church in our community through music ministry since he was a teenager, and we’re blessed to have him organizing our worship music ministry and leading us pouring out our hearts in praise each week.  

DAVID ALEXY
Sound Tech

David Alexy is very active serving in multiple roles in our church.  Currently he is most responsible for helping to create an environment of worship that is centered on Jesus through mixing sound for our Sunday services.
